Beer Choir is going on tour!
In partnership with Witte Travel & Tours and choral groups Kantorei, Quintessence, and Coro Lux, Beer Choir is offering a weekend of Beer Choir fun in Albuquerque, New Mexico September 25th - 29th, 2024!

The Itinerary
Wednesday, September 25th, 2024
Depart from Minneapolis/St Paul International Airport (or wherever you’re traveling from) and arrive in Albuquerque, NM (ABQ) in the evening. You’ll hop on the tour motorcoach to the hotel in ABQ.
Thursday, September 26th, 2024
We’ll hop the motorcoach to Sante Fe, NM for guided walking tour of Santa Fe, following the Old Santa Fe Trail to the State Capitol, San Miguel Mission and Oldest House, and to the historic Plaza. We’ll also visit the New Mexico History Museum. Next, we’ll visit the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture for a guided tour during which we’ll learn learn about the cultural history and lifestyles of New Mexico’s Pueblo, Navajo, and Apache tribes. In the afternoon, we’ll have some free time for independent exploration and shopping. In the evening, we’ll head to a Santa Fe brewery for Beer Choir! Afterwards, the motor coach will bring us back to ABQ.
Friday, September 27th, 2024
We’ll begin at the Sandia Peak Tramway, the longest tramway of its kind, whisky passengers 4,000 feet up along a line of continuous Swiss-made cables. There is a small exhibit about local flora and fauna. Following some time to enjoy the view, we’ll return to the base and then head to Old Town Albuquerque for a guided walking tour. The afternoon will be at leisure for independent exploration. In the evening, we’ll head to a local Albuquerque brewery for Beer Choir!
Saturday, September 28th, 2024
Choose your own adventure!
Option A: Choral Exchange Day
Members of Kantorei, Quintessence and Coro Lux, along with any others on the tour who would like to participate in a day of singing, will have the opportunity to meet and sing together. Participants in the choral exchange will have an opportunity to hear three unique community choirs, and learn about their music and missions. Participants will also prepare a piece to sing in a mass choir with all three groups for an afternoon performance.
Option B: Explore Albuquerque
This group will visit the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. The horseshoe shaped building is modeled after the Pueblo Bonito ruins in Chaco Canyon. The fascinating museum traces the history of the Pueblo communities in New Mexico. In the afternoon we’ll head to the ABQ Biopark to visit the Botanic Garden which has plants from the American Southwest and from around the world. Following our visit here, we’ll have some free time. Later in the afternoon, we’ll attend a joint concert performance of Kantorei, Quintessence, and Coro Lux, and a mass choir of participants in the choral exchange day.
Following the concert, all tour participants are invited to a dinner at a local restaurant. Note: This dinner is option, and is not included as a part of your tour package.
Sunday, September 29th, 2024
After breakfast, we’ll transfer to the airport for flights back to MSP, or wherever you’re traveling from!

Yes! Witte Travel and Tours will help coordinate your flights from anywhere.

The price is $1729 per person if you’re coming from Minneapolis/St. Paul and are willing to share a hotel room with someone else. If you want to room on your own the price will be an additional $375. If you’re coming from somewhere other than MSP, the price may also be different.
